Marcela Ferlito
is Paraguayan.
She made her stage debut at age six. From that moment she has been involved
in the world of theater and TV, be it technical, educational, acting or live
dubbing. Marcela has worked with Teatro de la Luna, GALA Hispanic Theater,
Arena Stage, Source Theater, Duke Ellington School of the Arts, The
Ellington Company and the Departments of Theater at George Mason University,
Montgomery College and the University of Maryland. She received an Associate
of Arts degree (AA, 2005) from Montgomery College and a Bachelor of Arts
(BA, 2007) from the University of Maryland. Last season, she was applauded
for her work in “Sex, Shame and Tears.” She has also participated in the
Playreading Series, most recently in “You Can Be A Murderer.” Marcela acts
in, teaches and coordinates La Luna’s Experience Theater Program, which is
currently touring metropolitan area schools with the bilingual plays
“Itsy-Bitsy,” “Drops of Water,” “I Call Her Rusita Rojas” and “Happy and
Healthy.” |
