Anabel Marcano
graduated from the National Conservatory of Dramatic Arts in Washington, DC,
where she was seen in Suddenly Last Summer, Lady from Dubuque, Twelfth
Night, The Pregnant Pause, Picnic, Trojan Women, Yerma, Wanda’s Visit,
Sister Mary Ignatius Explains It All for You and North Shore Fish.
In New York she studied at The New Actors Workshop and in Miami at the Flor
Núñez Drama Center, where she appeared as guest artist in Homenaje a un
Mago (Homage to a Magician) with the Teatro Avante group. At Teatro de
la Luna, she was seen in I Tell You Juana I Really Wanna, The Fox and the
Grapes, Fairy Tales, We Who Love Each Other So, Let There Be Woman, Venice,
The Lettuce, Who Am I Anyway?, Love in the Open Air, Frida Kahlo, the
Passion, She Returned One Night
and Kick-Butt Women; she has also performed for
children in The Box of Surprises, Hansel and Gretel and The
Adventures of Pinocchio. Currently, she’s the on-screen figure for the
Ricky Martin Foundation’s TV campaign, “Call & Live”. She recently
participated in the TV series Contrasts in her native Venezuela. |
