In this black comedy, a simple, industrious woman basks in the affection of her children and in-laws. All gather to celebrate her birthday. Underneath their facades lie egoism, wants and falsehoods which erupt into a delirious, grotesque game, ending with an unexpected sense of rediscovery.
A discussion will follow the playreading between the audience, actors and director. The evening will culminate with a Vin d’honneur.

Don’t worry…To whom hasn’t it happened? Who hasn’t fallen in love with the wrong person?... At last! Here’s a manual that tries to explain, with much wit, how women fall in love with men who make them suffer.
From 1960 until today -- that's one of the delicate threads that runs through this hilarious musical revue. Three incomparable musicians, singers and actors -- masters of Uruguay's "rioplatense" comedy style -- use songs, poetry and monologues to transport us to the World of Laughter!
A magic world... Two moments in time, two generations, two women
-- and a tenderness embodied by two personalities... A mother and daughter
united by an indestructible bond. A love that transcends all in a story filled
with exuberance and truth.
Would you like to make puppets? Write
