She is a Chilean-born actor and teacher
with a degree from the ARCIS University Theater School in Santiago. She is a
producer for Spotlight Communications, whose last production was Lovers,
and she most recently performed in its presentation of Gay:
Accept Me If You Love Me. At GALA Hispanic Theatre she has acted in
The Knight from Olmedo, Snowball: Cuba’s King of Song, Blood Wedding
and Believe It or Not! with GALita. Other local credits include
The In Series’ Searching for Gabriela. She is a member of D2 Puppet
Theater, takes part in its summer artistic camp, and has performed in the
company’s A Wonderful Meeting, Little Red Riding Hood and Pito y
Pepa. She is an acting member of Synetic Theater and was an understudy
in its productions of Antony and Cleopatra and Dracula. She
starred in Teatro de la Luna’s As If It Were Tonight and
Two-Scented Rose and has led puppetry workshops for the company. In
addition, she has worked with students at Edmund Burke High School and The
Next Step Charter School. She currently teaches Spanish, dance and theater
at Oyster Bilingual School. Her stage credits in Chile include The War of
Arauco, Saint Joan of the Slaughterhouses, The Invaders,
American Miracle, Madame de Sade, Roberto Zuco,
Three Sisters and La Remolienda. |
