Costa Rica’s Teatro La Polea returns with its sensational hit, The Immigrant by César Meléndez. Direct from Spain, Factoría Teatro presents Family Under Construction by Gonzala Martin Sherman. From Argentina, comedian Perla Laske brings I Can’t Live Without a Maid. And our last "embrace" marks the return of Uruguay’s No. 1 comedian, Petru Valenski, in Petru: All By Himself, a U.S. premiere by Omar Varela.
In times of crisis…in marriages there is also crisis…In a delightful comedy, the classic situation of the love triangle unfolds in a theatrical game. VERY CLEVER!

A timeliness and a
relevance to the classics are found in this text, which speaks to us of the intimate turbulence of banishment, of exile.
The uprooting, the feeling and pride for the land that saw our birth, unforgettable and indelible topics... and with humor that touches us to the core.
A discussion will follow the playreading between the audience, actors and director. The evening will culminate with a Vin d’honneur.
