CLAUDIA TORRES, a
native of Colombia, is making her fifth Teatro de La Luna appearance in
Venecia, after appearing as Susana in last season’s El Gran Deschave. She has
also performed in Teatro de la Luna’s productions of El Invitado in the role
of Nora, El Público in the role of Harlequin and La Barraca de Federico. Other
theatrical credits include the role of Doña Ana de Ulloa in El Burlador de
Sevilla at GALA, the role of Mercy in Clean and Tristessa in Kerouac at the
Studio Theatre Second Stage, the role of Teresa Marquez in Voire Dire at
Everyman Theatre of Baltimore and a mid-Atlantic tour of Krista’s Enemy and
Friends with Bridgework Theater. Ms. Torres also adds play readings,
voice-overs, radio, film and television to her credits. She has trained in
acting at the Shakespeare Theatre and the Studio Theatre both of Washington,
DC and received a B.A. in Theatre from Florida State University. |
