In commemoration of the centenary of dancer José Limón, of the musicians Pablo Sarasate and Herbert von Karajan, and of the philosophers Simone de Beauvoir, Maurice Merleau-Ponty, and Claude Levi-Strauss, Teatro de la Luna’s XVI Poetry Marathon celebrates poetry’s close relationship with dance, music, philosophy, and with other artistic and cultural expressions. |

In this “celebration of words,” renowned Spanish-language poets are accompanied by audience members of all ages who recite, read or interpret their own work or that of well-known authors. This is the only Spanish-language poetry marathon in the country!
The visiting poets who are bringing us and other faithful devotees of poetry the freshest in Hispanic poetry:
