This is Oscar’s
first acting venture with Teatro de la Luna, though last season he provided
simultaneous interpretation for Manteca and performed in Que Pronto Se Hace
Tarde, part of Luna’s Playreading series. His most recent performances include
the musical Candombe! Tango Negro, and Calderón de la Barca’s La Dama Duende,
both with GALA Hispanic Theatre. Oscar has performed in stages throughout
Baltimore and Panama, where he received his theatrical training. Recent
performances include Elfano in Rudolph the Red-Hosed Reindeer, Atahuallpa in
The Royal Hunt of the Sun, both at Spotlighters Theatre. With Helen Hayes
Award winner Synetic Theatre, he played the role of Ebari in their production
of Host & Guest at the Philadelphia Fringe Festival. He played the role of
David in Rich Espey’s Fifty/Fifty, winner of Best Play and Best Production at
the 2003 Baltimore Playwrights Festival. Other credits include, Jeffrey
(Steve), Corpus Christi (Matthew), The Most Fabulous Story Ever Told (Adam),
Jesus Christ Superstar (Caiaphas), All’s Well That Ends Well (Lord Dumaine).
Credits in Spanish include, Romeo y Julieta (Benvolio) y La Vida Es Sueño (Astolfo),
