Cynthia Urrunaga,
while
following a career as a graphic artist, studied theater at El Club de Teatro
and other locations in her native Lima, Peru between 1995 and 2002. She
performed in One Must Fill the Night and At the Edge, among
others. Here in Washington, she has attended acting training workshops at
both GALA Hispanic Theatre and Teatro de la Luna. In 2007 she participated
by special invitation in the production Waiting for the Hearse at
Club de Teatro Bárbara Simón/Inter-American Development Bank. Currently La
Luna’s graphic designer, she has most recently been seen on its stage as
María Félix in Frida Kahlo, the Passion and a playreading of
Smithereens. She is also a member of the ongoing ensemble of The
Adventures of Pinocchio. Ms. Urrunaga is also a painter. |
