Alex López-Montañez, performed
as an invited actor with the cast of Techaga’ú/Añoranza by writer and
director Hugo Robles from Paraguay’s El Ansia Theater production at Teatro
de la Luna’s 13th International Festival of Hispanic Theater. He took the
stage in Teatro de la Luna’s Kick-Butt Women and She Returned One
Night and has acted in La Luna workshops and more than a dozen of its
dramatic play readings. López-Montañez is part of a team of La Luna
volunteers who collaborate on poetry marathons, children’s theater programs
and the annual International Festival of Hispanic Theater. He ventured into
English-language theater when he performed in Jesus Hopped the A Train
with the Hard Bargain Players. He also sang with the Coral Polifónica
(polyphonic chorus) at the Universidad of Puerto Rico’s Cayey campus. |
