Teatro de la Luna calls all young poets and poetry lovers to participate in its 5th Young People’s Poetry Marathon in Spanish. This is conducted through the Experience Theater program, which has an objective, among others, of promoting the use of good Spanish. The Marathon is presided over by Teatro de la Luna’s Artistic Director, Mario Marcel.

Participation in this Meeting of Poetic Minds is totally free. 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon is reserved for elementary school children; 12:00 until 2:00 p.m. is for young people in middle and high school.

Teatro de la Luna can provide schools with trained bilingual instructors who can help students create and/or perform poems in Spanish, preparing them for the Marathon. As time slots are limited, interested schools and classes should contact us as soon as possible to confirm their participation and to schedule workshops.

All participants in this festival of the Spanish Word receive a certificate confirming their involvement, as well as a small gift. But the greatest gift they receive is the gift of poetry!
