Each session will end with a performance for parents & friends

Workshops

With help from a grant from The Mayor’s Office on Latino Affairs in the District of Columbia, Teatro de la Luna is inviting students at Bruce Monroe Elementary School @ Park View to participate in free Bilingual Theater Workshops.

The Theater Workshops are scheduled over six Saturdays - December 1, 8, 15 & 22 and January 5 & 12 - from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. When they complete the workshops, students will show what they have learned in an artistic presentation for parents, teachers and other students at Bruce Monroe @ Park View. The presentation will be held on Monday, January 14.

An invitation to music lovers - in preparation for Valentine's Day - to experience the delights of romantic songs through the traditional and unforgettable music of the bolero.

Seating is cabaret style. A cash bar and a selection

of light snacks from Latin America will be available.
