Cubanas II, as the Bride in Así que pasen cinco años (Once Five Years Pass), as
Isabela in El
Burlador de Sevilla (Don Juan of Seville), and as Nise in La Dama Boba (the Foolish Woman). Other
local credits include La Quimbamba with the “In” Series at the Corcoran Gallery, Paquita Piñata in Three Americas
at the Kennedy Center Festival; as Inés in La Pasión de Don Juan at the Organization of American States; as Maria Caminos in
Dos Madres at the Source Theater Festival and as Helene in Humulus, the Mute
at Silver Spring Stage. Ms. Yañez trained at the National Conservatory of Dramatic Arts, the Shakespeare Theatre Master Studies and George Mason University. |
